Hi, I'm Bailey—an emerging director and freelance scriptwriter from New Zealand with a strong passion for visual storytelling and character-driven narratives. A film graduate with a raft of ideas that refuse to let me sleep, I have found success as a writer and director with my short films Smoke and Mirrors and Heist for Dummies.  

 

I’m a full blown movie buff who loves narratives built around bold archetypes and tropes. Give me secrets. Lies. Tension. A feel-good Hallmark romance with suspiciously perfect snow. Or a psychopathic killer stalking teenagers who absolutely had it coming.

 

While creating on my own projects, I've also contributed to script development through the New Zealnd Writer's Guild. I'm a highly motivated person, continuing to work hard to forge a meaningful career in the entertainment industry. Ultimately, I’m looking to collaborate on projects that take creative risks. The kind that makes you want to argue about them in a parking lot after the premiere.
