about me

My Story
Growing up in a supportive and creative environment has encouraged me to pursue my dreams of filmmaking. Since I can remember, I have always been surrounded by movies and had a key interest in the entertainment industry. Luckily, I inherited my utter love of film, storytelling and the creative streak from my parents, including my uncle who also works within the industry.

I have recently graduated from Massey University in Wellington, New Zealand, earning a Bachelors degree in Creative Media Production. Through the entirety of the course, I discovered my main passion was to write, direct and edit content. During my final year of study, I was fortunate enough to helm my final thesis project ‘Smoke and Mirrors’ as the director and writer.
Set in Wellington, New Zealand, 'Smoke and Mirrors' is a 15-minute mystery pilot focussing on four unlikely college students who are each sent mysterious notes regarding the disappearance of their friend, Mia Baxter. Since premiering at Massey, 'Smoke and Mirrors' has received recognition at international and national film festivals throughout 2022, including directing nominations.

Along with my number one passion for film, I am also fond of theatre and performing arts. Before filmmaking entered my life, I attended acting workshops and performed on stage in local productions, which was a skill that was encouraged by my uncle, who is a New Zealand actor. To this day, one of my greatest achievements was writing and directing my high school biennial production 'Strength Of A Hero' in which I received the 2018 award in Service to Culture and the Arts at St Peters College.

Since completing my studies at University, I am continuing to grow as a filmmaker and distribute my content online, via social media platforms, from script to screen. Following a creative pathway and an industry that inspires me dearly, I am looking forward to working alongside passionate individuals, like myself, as I begin my new journey within the movie world as a filmmaker.
